With the tagline “Tara na, Mag-SiyenSaya sa AgrikulTOURa”, Kamalig is the number one destination to see the culmination of all of CLSU’s science-based farms. Rice paddies? CHECK. Fish tanks? CHECK. Greenhouses? CHECK. Animal sheds? CHECK. Beehives? CHECK. Whatever agricultural thing you can think of, you’ll best believe you can find it in KAMALIG!

There are so many opportunities to walk through the fields as you walk through a 2-hectare patch of land filled with so much to see. This area is the most visited in CLSU, as people (including yourself!) can be taught so much information by Penny and the other KAMALIG staff about all the research and development projects and technologies by CLSU inside the model farm. 

Now, in the summertime, tall sunflowers bloom high up, and they provide a picturesque view inside the model farm. When in full bloom, Students and  Visitors absolutely love this spot and often take pictures of and with the flowers to their heart’s content! Sunny the Sunflower is also here during the full blooming season! They are not only super photogenic, but they’re also a skilled photographer, so feel free to ask them for some pictures and picturing tips!
